Uniwire's manufacturing base resides near to the Welsh coastal town of Abersytwyth. Occupying a 20,000sq.ft unit, the Company operates a significant manufacturing capability, since starting Barbed wire production alone has topped 1,000,000 coils. Specialist machinery is used to manufacture the Barbed Wire, Fencing and Staples all on site. Uniwire's production techniques are renowned, setting the standards for the industry. Productivity acheived is recognised to be exceptional - and comparatively higher than all other manufacturers in the UK. Uniwire's quality system provides customers unparalelled peace of mind. Quality is continuously monitored, every single coil of wire is traceable throughout the whole factory system and on to the customer. As well as enabling the close monitoring of all the wire quality within the factory, if the Uniwire production number (showing on its indestructable label), is kept attached to the product, it provides Uniwire and hence the customer with full product information, i.e. when the product was made, on which machine, by a specific person, using what materials, for up to 2 years after the wire has been supplied.
