Uniwire Stock fence - light, medium and heavy grades

All our products including our range of stock fence is produced to achieve the highest appropriate British Standards. Our biggest selling grade of stock fence is the medium grade, hence it is listed here first. The most popular products are shown for each grade, others can be made on request. Most fencing is supplied in 50m rolls, we can and do supply rolls upto 350m long, which take some man-handling! All fencing comes palletised and steel banded for easy storage and handling - as each picture shows. To review more of our products click on the menu bar above or below.

Medium grade galvanised wire stock fence and stock fencing

Medium Grade

The traditional hinged joint stockfence for permanent fencing, ideal for cattle, sheep or pigs. All medium grade is produced in accordance with B.S.4102 from heavy galvanised wire to B.S.443, supplied in 50m. rolls, 20 per pallet

C8/80/15

The standard 6" stockfence originally designed for pigs but now widely used for sheep and cattle, particularly for specification work.
32" High, 8 line wires, 6" vertical spacings.

C8/80/22

As per C8/80/15 but with 9" spacings making it ideal for sheep and lambs as the wider spacing helps prevent lambs getting their heads stuck. specification work.
32" High, 8 line wires, 9" vertical spacings.

C8/80/30

As per C8/80/15 but with 12" spacings making it the most economical of the traditional pattern stockfences.
32"High, 8 line wires, 12" vertical spacings.

C6/90/30

A taller "cattle" stockfence using less line wires and 12" vertical spacings. Note! 50 yard rolls.
36"High, 6 line wires, 12" vertical spacings.

Light grade stock fence wire stock fencing

Light Grade

An economic stockproof fence for situations where traditional permanent fences are not required. Constructed out of thinner wire, light grade is easier to use and erect than medium or heavy grades.

L5/60/15

HEDGE BOTTOM stockfence is a 2ft high fence particularly suitable for fencing along hedge bottoms and on the top of stone walls.
Made to B.S.443, supplied in 50 yd rolls, 20 per pallet.
24"High, 5 line wires, 6" vertical spacings.

L7/72/15

SHEEP FENCE is a lower cost alternative to C8/80/15
Made to B.S.443, supplied in 50 yd rolls, 20 per pallet.
29"High, 7 line wires, 6" vertical spacings.

L8/80/15

The direct lightweight equivalent of C8/80/15
Made to B.S.4102 & 443, supplied in 50m. rolls, 20 per pallet.
32"High, 8 line wires, 6" vertical spacings.

Heavy grade galvanised wire stock fence and stock fencing

Heavy Grade

Used primarily for boundary fences or specification work. Particularly useful in areas where atmospheric pollution causes excessive corrosion or for fencing where the fence line is difficult to access, and repeat fencing is to be avoided. All heavy made to B.S.4102 and 443.

B8/80/15

The heavyweight equivalent of C8/80/15. Supplied in 50m rolls, 14 per pallet.
32"High, 8 line wires, 6" vertical spacings.

B8/80/30

The heavyweight equivalent of C8/80/30. A lower cost heavy fence with the advantages of 12" vertical spacings, making it ideal for cattle, pigs, sheep & lambs. Supplied in 50m rolls, 20 per pallet.
32"High, 8 line wires, 12" vertical spacings.
